Dr Dolittle's Trip To Africa

[Music] um [Music] long ago in this house lived dr doolittle he could speak the language of the animals and whenever they were sick he would look after them [Music] [Applause] [Music] if the horse can't see properly maybe glasses would help that's better [Music] all the work in the doctor's house is done by animals they did all the cooking the cleaning the washing up it was all done by the doctor's pets [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] every evening the doctor would read aloud to his pets [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] a message from africa all the monkeys are sick and have sent the doctor doolittle to go and help them but a trip to africa costs money and they hadn't very much left how can they get to africa [Music] dr doolittle must put on his thinking cap and see if he can't find some way to get to those poor monkeys in africa [Music] my [Music] [Music] someone in danger the doctor runs to help [Music] [Applause] the boy's father is a sea captain he's very grateful to the doctor is there anything he can do in return well could he help him to get to africa [Music] africa of course the captain earns a fine ship and will gladly lend it to the doctor [Music] the pets are overjoyed they are off to africa [Music] hmm [Music] hmm [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] so [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] day after day and night after night dr doolittle sailed his ship towards africa [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] me [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] the coast of africa but now the sea is getting rougher hmm [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] everyone has swam safely to shore but what about the doctor's head [Music] [Applause] [Music] and there was dr doolittle with all his animals safe at last in africa [Music] you
