A serene winterscape glides, as in a dream, across the screen, from darkness to darkness...Vision shivers, hesitates ever so slightly to savor, to hold still, but inevitably everything passes. Far becomes near, near far. Shadows seed their counterparts in the depths of the viewers heart. Filmed through sliding doors, the temperature difference between the interior and the wintry exterior result in a visible pulse. The film is also slightly slow-motion, which should be detectable when projected at 16 frames per second.
