Description: A silent motion picture with German and English subtitles. Tells the story of a chambermaid who has waited months for word from her fiance, and to comfort her, the mailman delivers forged letters that are supposed to be from the missing fiance. Continues as the girl is touched by the mailman's love and becomes engaged to him, and when the fiance returns, the jealous mailman kills him, after which, the girl jumps from a rooftop.
