Live action and cel animation are joined in this tale about the magic of music. As a group of musicians play onstage, the audience is suddenly drawn through a cello into a mysterious world where the musical Note s assume human qualities. Using the conductor's master as a blueprint, the Note s put everything in order, thus teaching viewers about musical terms and music theory.
