This avant-garde work by New Zealand-born animator Len Lye consists of drawings, paintings and scratchings applied directly on the surface of the celluloid. Set to lively Cuban music, colors and lines dance on the screen. The slogan, G.P.O., Cheaper Parcel Post, is stenciled on the colors, an addition required by Grierson for the film's sponsor.
