Description: Describes the circus as it was in the past by providing an insight into how tents were set up, how the performers prepared for their acts, and by showing the highlights of a few acts. Pictures the unloading of railroad cars, the many animals which contribute to a circus, and the clowns' make-up. Parallels the circuses of today and concludes that the circus is still the "greatest show on earth."
