Although they cannot fly and are the tallest and heaviest of birds, ostriches have tremendous speed. In this film, a brightly-plumed male dances and attracts a female. They mate and the female lays eggs that are 20 times heavier than chicken eggs. A child narrator describes the ostrich's unique physical and behavioral attributes.
