Description: Shot for an Austin based network news affiliate, this footage depicts the aftermath of a car wreck involving local taxi company Roy’s Taxi. Founded by Roy Velasquez, Sr. in 1931 to provide service to Austin’s black and Latino citizens, the family run business was the city’s longest established cab company until its merger with Yellow Cab in 2006.
