Description: Presents the dilemma of Julie and Joe, teen-agers who have decided to drop out of school to get married. Depicts the counseling of friends and teachers, an edict from Julie's parents, and the young couple's plans to elope. En route, they view firsthand some of the problems of another teenager marriage by visiting with Tom and Elaine. Final scenes show Julie and Joe deciding that a year isn't such a long time and a happy marriage is worth waiting and preparing for.
