Description: Studies the influence of peers, teachers, and parents in the development of prejudices in the mind of a boy. Illustrates the various ways in which adults, particularly parents and teachers, spread prejudices through lack of insight and careless talk. Reveals the influence of movies and television in stereotyping certain groups of people. Depicts the activities of a group of boys as they allow their misconceptions and prejudices to overcome reason. Identifies the two-faced world the boy chooses to live in as he grows older. Views the way in which prejudices become so strongly embedded in one's beliefs that they remain planted.
Complete Record: Discusses the development of prejudice in one man. Shows him as a child becoming aware of the diverse racial and religious groups as 'DIFFERENT,' and as an adult with a sure sense of discrimination.
