Why Social Casework

Discusses the primary role and responsibility of social casework, that of helping the client achieve the means of resolving problems within the political, economic and social system. Shows that it is when the client, for a variety of reasons, is unable to bring together these means, that casework attempts to aid him in acquiring significant social roles.
