Explains the value of community laws through an animated fable about a king who enjoyed making unjust laws. Shows three townsmen--Shiver, who is always cold; Gobble, who is always hungry; and Snore, who is always sleepy--escaping to a place where there are no laws, only to discover that they must draw up laws to keep from infringing upon each other's rights. Compares this arrangement to our present system of community laws which enables people to live together harmoniously.
