Description: Follows Jimmy, a nine-year-old with reading difficulties, through successive remedial procedures of the Syracuse University Reading Clinic. After the staff members collect autobiographical material and administer a battery of tests, at a case conference each clinician reports his findings on the basis of which treatment is recommended. A teacher-parent-clinician conference is also held. A year later, a follow-up visit is made to check on Jimmy's progress.
