White Blood Cells: Defense Against Disease

Shows how the body's defenses are thrown up against the tubercule bacillus as it is engulfed by a single leucocyte. Pictures monocytes and phagocytes and their activities. Concludes that in any infection white blood cells and other scavenger cells hasten to remove bacteria from the body.
