Description: This awareness film raises serious questions about censorship and textbooks for public schools. The film explores the influence special interest groups have on school book selection and features Norma Gabler, a Texan, who wants her views represented as well. She and her husband have embarked on a crusade to have their conservative values incorporated in textbooks. Publishers often revise texts so they will not jeopardize the lucrative Texas market. Books adopted for the Texas schools are also sold throughout the country.
