What Is Area?

Defines area in terms of set theory and the common limits of inner and outer polygons. Shows that area of a circle is either greater than or equal to the area of the inner polygon, and either less than or equal to the areas of the areas of the outer polygon. Develops the formula for finding the areas of a circle from inscribed and circumscribed polygons. Assumes a knowledge of trigonometry, set theory, and advanced algebra.
