Alling Iron Works and the Sacramento Shipbuilding Company, the Alling family at their home, the parties of the Sacramento Yacht Club, and people participating in outdoor activities. Parts one and two primarily show the work and activities of the N.M. Alling Iron Works and the Sacramento Shipbuilding Company. Footage of the construction of the U.S. Navy open-hulled barges YC936 and YC490 is also included. Part of segment two shows footage of the Alling family at their home and the Sacramento Yacht Club.
