Weaving linen

Description: A general account of modern factory methods of weaving linen. The following processes are illustrated: preparing the weft yarn for the shuttle; preparing the warp; threading the heddles; weaving the linen; and the finish processes including pre-shrinking, scalding, bleaching and dyeing, calendering and folding. An animated diagram is used to explain how the loom works.
