Presents two elementary school teachers taking a group of ten third graders of different ethnic backgrounds to the telephone company exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry. Shows how they meet Mr Richards who guides them through the exhibits and answers their questions as the children learn basic skills in using the telephone, including how to find numbers in the phone book.
