We Are Working People

Complete catalog record
Possibly produced by the Center for Film Studies, in Moscow.

Film about the industrial worker in the Soviet Union, emphasizing the worker, the “proletariat” as a whole person; showing not only many scenes in the factory work place but also a look into the rest of their lives: dinners with family, going to museums, participating in political parades. It is not, “we are workers,” but “we are working PEOPLE,” giving a more humanistic, rounded understanding to the working base of their economy.
