Includes a hard-driving lesson on human carelessness with fire. Explains how U.S. Marines, California fire fighting personnel, and Indian forest fire fighters cooperated with the Forest Service in controlling the 1955 fire in the Los Padres National Forest in California, which destroyed its vegetation.
