Complete Record: Describes the water cycle and the role that man plays in order to help viewers understand the problems and dangers of pollution. Shows how aquifers help reprocess polluted water and the specific causes, results, and correction measures for various types of water pollution. Water is recycled in nature. Moisture evaporates from lakes, streams, and oceans. The moisture-bearing air cools, and the moisture condenses to form clouds and precipitation. Water is purified in the process. Man has often added impurities in the form of mining residue, solid trash, effluent from factories, and sewage to his water supplies at a more rapid rate than the water cycle can handle. The result could be a decrease in usable water for all living things. Atmosphere, pollutants, water cycle, minerals, pollution, factory.
