Water Harvesting

Description: At the 400 acre Sydney University Animal Husbandry Farm at Badgery’s Creek an important experiment is being conducted into a system of internal irrigation known as water harvesting. Water is carried by contour drains and stored in earth dams. In dry periods, pastures are irrigated by mobile sprays and pumping equipment. Commentary by David Low.
