Description: A documentary account of the struggle of the Chinese people to resist Japanese aggression and invasion in the years preceding World War II. The film covers the invasion of Manchuria, the capture of Peiping and Shanghai, and the savage pillage of Nanking. It shows the epic migration of 20 million Chinese to Chungking, far in the west of China, following the fall of Hankow. The film also depicts the building of the famed Burma Road and its early defense by Channault's Flying Tigers.
