Description: Visualizes the conceptual relationship among metric units by using theater arts students to represent units of meter, liter, and gram and combines them with the six common prefixes to create larger and smaller units. Shows everyday examples from food containers to motorcycle engines measured in the most commonly used units of volume: the cubic centimeter, the cubic decimeter, and the cubic meter. Relates these sizes to the units of liquid volume: the milliliter, the liter, and the kiloliter and observes appropriate use of each measure.
