'Village Potters of Onda' (1966) 27m, dir. Edith Sperry. Shows the activities and ways of life of Japanese folk potters in Onda, a romote village in the mountains of North Central Kyushu, Japan. Presents a detailed account of traditional pottery - making techniques which have remained relatively unchanged for more than250 years. 9 families in village make pottery, including Sakamoto, Yunase (sp?), Kokakuro (sp?). Techniques originated in Korea.
