M4 Sherman tanks along with heavy mortars shell the hill to cover the Korean troops. United Nation's psychological operations unit attached to the 25th Infantry Division. Loudspeaker appeals to surrender are recorded for later use. Leaflets are also discusses as leaflets are loaded onto aircraft for distribution. Operations aboard the USS Essex (CV-9) with F2H-2 Banshees of VF-172 on the flight deck prepared for its first combat missions.
