First, Marines wade through marshy terrain and villages in Vietnam. Locals stand by as Marines search for Viet Cong. Marines capture Viet Cong members, travel through the river and through the jungle with South Vietnamese allies. A CH34 helicopter lands in a field and injured Marines are evacuated. The second subject covers the USMC ""People to People"" campaign. Possibly MajGen. G.W. Smith and other Marines engage with locals, hand out supplies. Medical attention is given to children and locals. Vietnamese villagers go about their daily activities. A UH1 helicopter lands on aircraft carrier, marine medical personnel arrive to transfer injured civilian and child to another helicopter. Injured civilians airlifted and transferred to medical facility on land. Third subject, ""Logistics"", contains images of USMC supplies, fuel. The next subject, ""This is Vietnam"", shows street life in Vietnam to include the US Embassy, a church, and other various shots of city and local life.
