They start with a weapons demonstration before visiting the Pentagon and meeting military officials. At Quantico they watch Sikorsky CH53As land in a field with supplies and Marines disembark. Participants ride in Sikorsky HRS3s of HMX-1. At Naval Air Station Pensacola they ride a submarine and USS Saipan (CVL-48), where they watch planes of VP-MS-7 land and take off. Piasecki HUP2s take participants to a Blue Angels show. At Elgin Air Force Base they watch a Thunderbirds show and a ground strafing and bombing demonstration, fly in jets, and visit the McKinley Climatic Laboratory. At Fort Benning they watch aircraft and weapons demonstrations.
