Marine fires a MK19 40mm grenade launcher mounted inside a grounded helicopter (film dated 2/28/69). An armed command and reconnaissance vehicle and a XM800 ARV travel across mud and other rough terrain. Helicopter operations on aboard the USS Tripoli (LPH-10) include a HC-46 Sea Knight of HMM-265 landing and taking off. A jet drops bombs on a field. Marines disembark from a CH-46. Two civilians attach a flare box to a board. A YUH-60A hovers and turns above airstrip. Two civilians operate a MK-1-MOD-0 fuel gelling unit. In a film produced by FMC Corporation and titled ""The XR311 Weapons Platform,"" SR311s travel across rough terrain, fire mounted machine guns and missile launcher and tow a 105mm howitzer. Crowd watches as Marines hold a flag presentation ceremony at Fort McHenry. Marine Barracks Drum and Bugle Corps of Fort Meade stands at attention (dated 7/9/72 according to card with reel). Film shows various scenes of HMH-362 (""Ugly Angels"") helicopter squadron.
