Description
Marines exit LVTPs onto the beach armed with M14 rifles. USMC air traffic controllers go about tasks at El Toro airfield (09/03/1965). Pilots walk alongside A4 Skyhawks and sit in the cockpit. Wives pin wings to their husbands. USMC mechanics perform maintenance on A4s. A4s perform touch-and-gos and CH46 helicopters take off from the USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63). Marines double time across the deck to board CH46. Marines march in the barracks. Echo Battery load and fire 105mm Howitzers in Vietnam (June 1970). Women Marines engage Japanese women in conversation in Okinawa.
