Description
Marines participate in NATO joint training exercise, Operation Bold Guard/Northern Wedding. At Morehead City (NC), Marines embark on a ship with their sea-bags. On the flight deck of the Royal Navy HMH Westland a Sea King MKII helicopter is elevated to the flight deck. Royal Navy AH1 Scout lands and takes off from the deck of the HMH Ark Royal. In the German countryside, Marines eat ""C"" rations. M60 tanks move over roads. German APC and soldiers fire at UH1N. German Leopard tanks park on road. LVTP7s move by night. A German officer speaks to other NATO officers during inter-service planning. Male and female Marines work with radar in TADC.
