Description
Marines participate in NATO joint exercises, Operation Bold Guard/Northern Wedding. In Germany, German children inspect a USMC UH1 helicopter. LVTP7s move through the street of a German town, on country roads, through water. USMC officers and enlisted converse in a field. The USS Francis Marion (LPA-249) moves through the water and replenishes the USS Guadalcanal (LPH-7).
On the Shetland Islands, Marines prepare to leave the Shetland Islands. Jeeps and trucks board an LCU from a gravel beach.
On Fehmarn Island, Germany; aerial views document of LVTP7s moving through water.
