USMC 108005 Decade 1970 Date 1975-03-24 Description Squadron HMH-463 and Marines of 1/9 deploy on the 24th of March, 1975 for West PAC on the USS Hancock (CVA-19) from Pearl Harbor and arrive in Subic Bay, Philippines on the 6th of April, 1975. Marines and civilian dock workers load supplies aboard the USS Hancock. CH53, CH46, UH1, AH1, and F8U aircraft idle, are loaded onto as well as unloaded from the USS Hancock, and operated by Marines both in Pearl Harbor and at Subic Bay. Marines of 1/9 embark aboard the USS Hancock. Upon arrival to Subic Bay, Marines disembark, take attendance, stand at attention for inspection by USMC officers, and listen to orders from USMC Capt..
