Description
Reel includes two films. First, the departure of MAU-32 from Morehead City (NC) in October, 1974. RFK-69 forklift loads supplies aboard USS Spartanburg County (LST-1192) and USS Sumter (LST-1181). The USS Guam (LPH-9) underway. The second film includes the assumption of command ceremony at Camp Lejeune (NC) on the 16th of September, 1974. USMC Col. Ewald A. Vomorde passes his interim command and the colours of USMC CLNC to MajGen. Fred E. Haynes.
