In Morehead City, Marines load arresting gear and matting onto the USS Plymouth Rock (LSD-29) from LCU-1471. Marines use radio equipment and record information. On Vieques, Marines aboard the USS Boxer (LPH-4) load onto HRS-1 helicopters of HMM-264. HRS-1 helicopters take off from the USS Boxer. HRS-1 helicopters transport supplies and small vehicles. In the field, Marines travel via small vehicles and use communication equipment. Major General James P. Berkeley, an unidentified Major General, Lieutenant General Thomas A.
