USMC 105416 Description Compilation reel of various subjects: Marines drive vehicles on the beach. A group of Marines wait as their fellow sorts through mail. Marines fit Hawk missiles into place in a trailer. Radar equipment is operated at a field base camp. Two Marines treat an injured fellow lying on a stretcher on the beach, adjusting and securing a bandage on his knee. Aerial shots of landing craft and the USS Cavalier (APA-37) at sea. Communications tent activities. A Marine makes notes on a map. Second half of reel includes site preparation. A dozer loads dirt into the back of truck, which hauls the dirt to another point further away before depositing the dirt. The two vehicles work to clear and level a muddy field.
