More aircraft sit on the ice as the camera pans around the Antarctic detachment. Marines walk about the ice and within the shell of a shelter as they continue to build it. A small snow mobile carries about seven marines across the ice. A marine speaks to the cameraman as he points out something on a sign. The cameraman shows a deep fissure within the ice as well as more construction, cargo and the airfield with further LC130 planes. Cargo is unloaded from an LC130. One of the Hercules takes off. A penguin flaps its wings and plays before the cameraman and another marine. A marine braves the frigid temperatures without a shirt and throws a snowball. A snowstorm rolls in. A squad of penguins play on the ice as a marine appears to herd the for the camera. UC1 planes sit idly. An emperor penguin poses for a picture before sliding away on his belly.
