Crewmen hook catapult gear to the bottom of the jet before it launches. Flight deck crew observe as the FJ2 makes an arrested landing. Flight crew stand by on landing deck as smoke comes from from a jet. TBMs make arrested landings. A Sergeant winds an Eyemo camera, then laughs and chats with the cameraman filming him. A sergeant major standing with other marines, laughs at something off camera. A Navy Commander is filmed on deck. Footage of a small civilian vessel is taken.
