Major General Graves B. Erskine and Brigadier General Harry B. Liversedge ride on horseback. Marines salute Erskine and Liversedge. The Fallbrook Riders of San Diego County ride on horseback. Horse drawn carriages circle the corral. Marines and civilians spectate. Footage of the U.S. flag, the flag of California, a flag that reads "RRR", and a flag that reads "OSC." A civilian speaks into a microphone while a Marine records times. Marines set up machine guns, sprint with 60 mm mortars in hand, set up mortars, jump hurdles in combat gear, and race while pulling ammunition carts. Officers inspect weapons. Erskine, Liversedge, and an unidentified officer spectate the field meet. Swimmers dive into the pool, Marines and civilians spectate, a cameraman films the events, and judges sit at a table.
