Description
Civilians and Marines watch as Marines parade in front of the Marine Corps War Memorial in Arlington, Virginia in 1955. General Lemuel C. Shepherd Jr., Major General Merritt A. Edson (retired), unidentified Marine officers, and unidentified civilians watch the parade from the review stand. The Drum and Bugle Corps marches and plays music on the parade field. The color guard returns to their position on the parade field. Marines go through the manual of arms. Marines exit the parade field and the parade ends. Citizens and Marines approach the memorial. The photographer then focuses on a man in a suit with two forearm crutches walking away from the event. Content related to USMC 103411.
