USMC 103384 Decade 1950 Description The TTU (Troop Training Unit) was a special Naval unit mostly composed of Marines who fought in the Pacific in WWII. Marines drive a Jeep in the water and then check its engine. Footage of a turtle with the words "The big Mohae" painted on its shell. Marines with TTU helmets and armbands talk to each other. Marines disembark a DUKW and unhitch a Howitzer being hauled by the DUKW. Marines then use a crane attached to a DUKW to lift the Howitzer and place it in the bed of a DUKW and a LVT.
