Description
The Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, with other Iranian officers, Marine Corps officers, and civilians tour Marine Corps Air Station Miami. Unidentified foreign officers walk next to unidentified Marine Corps officers. The group then walks around a car marked "U.S. Navy". The group walks by an AD-5 Skyraider parked on the airfield. The group then walks into a hangar containing more AD-5 Skyraiders. The tail codes of the planes in the hangar read "MN" and "MR", VMA-333, and VMA-332. The group returns to the airfield and stands in near a line of F9F Panther jet fighters, some of which have the tail code "H." The Shah and an unidentified Naval officer look into the cockpit of an F9F. An unidentified Naval Lieutenant photographs the two officers. The group returns to cars parked on the airstrip, near two A-3 Skywarriors. The group drives off and passes a row of B-29 Superfortresses. An unidentified Marine Colonel gives a foreign officer a gift. The members of the group shake hands and salute each other. The Shah and his contigent leave the base.
