Regimental pass and review featuring Master Sgt. Bartley (44 years in the USMC) and Lt. Gen. Franklin A. Hart. Marines parade in formation before Bartley, Hart, and unidentified officers, NCOs. Hart, unidentified officers, and unidentified NCOs shake hands with Bartley. Hart presents a photograph of General Clifton B. Cates in dress blues to Bartley. Bartley holds a small boy, who counts the eleven hash marks on his sleeve. Bartley takes a photograph with civilians. Hart and staff take post on reviewing stand. Hart presents retirement papers to Bartley. Hart and Bartley salute troops passing review stand. The film features Marine squadron AES-12 and female Marines.
