1st Div air-ground review with Marines marching in formation and band. General Graves B. Erskine attends along with an unidentified Vice Admiral, along with other Marine and Navy officers. John Wayne is seated (without hat) in second row of reviewing stand. After Pass and Review, Wayne socializes with others on the review stand and then later he and Director John Ford (Captain, USNR) mingle with General Erskine and others.
