Scenes aboard transport are then followed by Norm Hatch's footage of landing on Iwo Jima, H+4 hours. Amphibious landing craft (USS LSM-264, USS LSM-141, USS LSM-242, and USS LSM-47) are all shown as is unloading and setting up on the beach. Note: war dog shown with Marine on beach. Reel ends with unrelated footage of Randolph Scott on a USO tour to Bougainville in January 1944.
