Description
The "Viper" anti-tank missile, a lightweight, nine-pound, inexpensive new form of artillery in the 1980s, is shown in this industrial promotional film going through multiple tests: accuracy against targets at the Red Stone Arsenal, temperature extremes and shock durability in a lab, and operational tests by soldiers in a simulated field setting. This film also depicts the facilities where the missile will be produced, close-ups of its mechanical makeup, and a demonstration of how it is prepped for deployment by a soldier in the field.
