The film illustrates use of the aircraft by VMA-542, ever-increasing since 1973 due to its ability to operate in a variety of environments, allowing it to provide rapid response in close proximity to battle zones. The film also shows aircraft exercises on the USS Guam, highlighting the aircraft's excellent maneuverability aboard the vessel, its well-trained pilots, and its effective ground crew.
