"Front Line Hospital Burma" covers operations by Lt. Gen. Joseph Stillwell, Lt. Cln. Gordon Seagraves and Burmese nurses at the Front Line Hospital in Yupbang, Burma, and transport of the wounded to Ledo via the 71st Liaison Squadron's L-4s and L-5s (Dec 1943). "Search for Crashed Zero" features members of the 14th Air Force traveling by jeep, ponies and on foot to and from the small Chinese mountain village of Wantien in search of a fallen Japanese plane (Feb 11 1944). "Dumbo Rescue Mission" depicts a two-engine consolidated Catalina, nicknamed Dumbo, protecting Corsairs en route to rescue two pilots downed at sea in St. George's Channel, and their return to Rabaul and the USS Coos Bay (April 2 1944). "Bombing of Caroline Islands" offers aerial footage of 22 B-24s of the 307th Group's assault on Pulusuk Island (March 26 1944). "Bombing of Bouganville" features aerial footage of bombs falling from American B-24s on the Soloman Islands (Dec 3-4 1943). "The JU-88" shows testing and demonstration of a German "junker" plane, including capability statistics. The film also provides footage of the "Chinese American Wing's new air base at Kweilin, with shots of B-25s and P-40s taking off and landing, and of Chinese pilots and American pilots of the 14th Air Force, along with Maj. Gen. Shenuk (Dec 10-12 1943). "Crew Returns from Kowloon Mission" features an interview with B-24 pilots from the 308th Bomb Group after engine trouble forced them to bail out of their aircraft. They give accounts of their escape into a river, their missing group members, and the aid given to them by Chinese and American missionaries (Nov 25 1943).
