Description: Describes a simple method of urethral suspension for urinary stress incontinence. Shows how, using the vaginal approach, the fibrous tissue on each side of the upper urethra is stapled to the posterior pubic bone, thus elevating the bladder neck. Explains that this operation has been most frequently performed for recurrent urinary stress incontinence and has been well-tolerated by the patients.
